Admissions Office
This is the office you will work most with, all the way from visiting the college to submitting your application to attending classes in the Fall. If you need help and have questions, this is the best place to start. Housing Services If you plan on living on campus, you will want to be in contact with on-campus housing. They will help you explore what dorms are available and help you find roomate(s), if you don't have any already picked out. Academic Advising Office When you register for classes, you won't be doing it alone! Academic advisors help you choose and register for classes every semester. If you attend college as undecided, they can also help you explore different majors that might be the right fit for you. Counseling Center If you currently use counseling services, or think you might during college, it is important to know what resources exist for you. Make sure the college's counseling center can support your mental health needs, and can accommodate any financial assistance. |
Financial Aid Office
If you have questions about paying for college or the FAFSA, this is the place to go. Especially once you receive a financial aid letter, they can help answer any question or walk you through what else you need to do. Dining Services You've got to eat, right?? If you live on campus, you will be required to have a meal plan. If you have any dietary restrictions, anyone at Dining Services should be able to answer questions. Career Center If you need help finding the right career for you, or if you want help finding an internship or job, the Career Center will be your best friend. Career counselors can help you explore your options, and give insight into what other previous graduates have done. Health Center Before attending college, you will need to send medical records to the Health Center. Also, will likely get sick at some point in college, and the Health Center can be a great way to provide quick support to get you healthy again. Most health centers accept insurance. |
Diversity and Inclusion Office If you want to learn more about the student population and culture of the college, this is a great place to start. You want to know you will feel at home at your college, and this office often provides many resources to ensure that all students are welcome. Academic Support Center If you are ever struggling in a class, it's good to know that you have ways to receive additional help. Colleges often offer tutoring services for most, if not all, classes - and they usually have a writing center too! |
Student Disability's Office If you currently receive accommodations at school, this office can answer any questions about receiving similar accommodations in college. IEPs and 504s do not automatically transfer to college - you will have to request them again. Registrar's Office If you're transferring any college credits, this is the office that determines what those classes transfer as. They also manage graduation requirements, and determine who is eligible to graduate. |
